Isabel Maya is a board-certified physician assistant specializing in dermatology at Skin Care Research. Originally from Colombia, she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Family and Child Sciences with minors in Chemistry and Biology from Florida State University. She went on to complete her Master of Medical Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale.
During her clinical training, Isabel completed two dermatology rotations where she developed a strong foundation in diagnosing and managing a wide range of skin conditions. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and licensed to practice in the state of Florida.
Isabel is passionate about educating patients on emerging treatment options and ensuring they feel supported, informed, and safe throughout the clinical trial process. Her goal is to help patients access innovative therapies while maintaining the highest standard of compassionate, personalized care.
Outside of work, Isabel enjoys focusing on health and wellness and spending quality time with her friends, family, and cats.
